This administrative role involves managing the assessment and processing of infringement reviews of Council decisions, including customer complaints and insurance claims. Key Responsibilities:

• Make administrative infringement review decisions in accordance with Council policies and procedures.
• Ensure procedural fairness and confidentiality is applied in circumstances.
• Draft and produce correspondence.

Key Criteria:

• Experience reviewing applications and the supporting evidence to make a decision.
• Interpret legislation and make technical recommendations.
• Knowledge of the Local Government Act 1989 and 2020, Infringements Act 2016, Victorian Road Rules, Domestic Animals Act and Council's General Local Laws.
• Local council experience

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong understanding of Council policies and procedures, as well as the ability to interpret legislation and make technical recommendations. If you have experience reviewing applications and the supporting evidence to make a decision, this could be the ideal role for you.
