About the Role:

The National Indigenous Australians Agency (NIAA) is seeking a Director to lead our Integrity Branch. This is a critical role in ensuring the integrity of our agency and upholding the highest standards of governance, assurance, and risk management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team to deliver key accountability mechanisms, including the NIAA Corporate Plan and Annual Report.
  • Provide strategic advice to the NIAA Executive and ensure compliance with the Public Governance and Performance Accountability Act.
  • Develop and deliver compliance and integrity-related training and education to staff.
  • Manage matters reported to the Branch where complex or serious non-compliance is detected.
  • Develop and deliver robust frameworks for grant-related contractual compliance.

Requirements:

  • Australian citizenship.
  • Baseline Vetting (Protected) level security clearance or current security clearance of an appropriate level.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
