Health, Safety and Wellbeing Manager

About the Role
Linfox Pty Ltd is seeking a seasoned Safety Professional to lead the development and execution of our safety culture across multiple operations in New South Wales.
This role is responsible for shaping and growing our safety culture with a focus on care, trust, and inclusion. The ideal candidate will have experience in embedding a risk-based approach to keep people safe both physically and mentally.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with business leaders and customers to develop and execute business and site plans that prioritize safety and risk management.
- Develop and maintain a risk-based approach that addresses every day, critical, and psychosocial risks.
- Coach and mentor leaders through site visits, facilitated training, and workshops to promote a safety-first culture.
- Develop and maintain a system that focuses on risk, health, compliance, and customer expectations.
- Manage serious incident investigations and regulatory notifications/interventions to ensure a safe working environment.
- Measure and report on performance, trends, and outcomes to inform safety improvements.
Requirements
- Leadership experience in safety, health, and wellbeing, or a related risk-based role.
- Deep understanding of the risks unique to the transport, warehousing, and resources industry.
- Commitment to personal development through formal education or other training programs.
- Experience in facilitating workshops and leading incident investigations.
- Working knowledge of work health and safety legislation.
- Ability to develop and present results, plans, and updates to leadership teams and customers.
About You
You are a seasoned safety professional with a passion for driving safety across multiple sites. You enjoy a hands-on role coaching, influencing, mentoring, and providing specialist workplace health and safety advice to workers and leaders. Your ability to work in an open, collaborative, and inclusive manner will ensure success in this role.
