Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Defence Project Coordinator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating defence projects, ensuring timely completion and effective communication with stakeholders.

About the Role

The Defence Project Coordinator will work closely with the project management team to identify opportunities for improvement and strategic planning. They will manage day-to-day activities, establish priorities and work tasks, and provide strategic planning to achieve program outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with project managers and other departments to identify opportunities for improvement and strategic outlook.
  • Manage the day-to-day activities of defence projects, including establishment of priorities and work tasks.
  • Provide strategic planning to achieve program outcomes.
  • Foster continuous improvement of processes, tools, methods, and techniques.
  • Facilitate project audits and ensure compliance with approved baselines.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 5 years' experience in a coordination or management role, preferably in the defence industry.
  • Formal training in project coordination or management.
  • Knowledge of project coordination principles, plans, procedures, and processes.
  • Strong management skills and team building capability.
  • Ability to distribute knowledge to a wider audience.
