Senior Project Lead

A skilled and experienced professional is sought to lead key projects across Western Australia, driving strategic growth in the Defence market.


About the Role:
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for end-to-end planning, coordination, and execution of high-value Defence infrastructure and consultancy projects, ensuring alignment with client objectives and industry standards.
  • The role involves overseeing complex procurement and contract management processes in accordance with Defence policies and procedures, focusing on value, compliance, and performance outcomes.
  • The ideal candidate will act as a trusted advisor and delivery partner to stakeholders, building credibility through leadership, reliability, and deep domain knowledge.
  • Ensuring rigorous project governance by managing program schedules, budgets, risk profiles, and quality assurance processes is also crucial – driving accountability and transparency throughout every phase of delivery.

Key Qualifications:
  • A tertiary qualification in Engineering, Project Management, or Construction Management, with ideally 15+ years' experience in similar roles within Defence or government environments is essential.
  • Local experience in Western Australia is highly regarded.
  • Australian Citizenship is required due to the nature of this role.
  • A current Baseline Defence clearance or eligibility to obtain an Australian Government security clearance is preferred.
