We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced academic professional to join our team as a casual lecturer for the Bachelor of Psychology program. As a key member of our teaching staff, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality lectures and tutorials, developing innovative teaching materials, and supporting students in achieving their academic goals.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver lectures and tutorials that effectively engage learners and promote academic excellence.
- Develop and deliver teaching sessions in a variety of innovative and adaptive ways, using technology to meet learner needs and learning styles.
- Proactively support the effective use of Chisholm resources and promote blended learning options, workplace delivery, and mobile technologies.
- Design and develop teaching and learning resources, including tailored materials in various formats to suit different learning styles.
- Develop classes that utilize online resources to simulate experimental conditions and enhance student understanding of psychology principles.
- Assist in the establishment, maintenance, and review of teaching programs to ensure curriculum relevance and effectiveness.
To succeed in this role, you will require:
- A Masters degree in Professional Psychology, Clinical Psychology, or a cognate discipline (or near completion of a PhD in Psychology or a related field).
- Strong research and analytical skills to select and use a wide range of learning resources and assessment tools.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with students, staff, and industry partners.
