Technical Consultant

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Consultant to join our team in Canberra. As a member of the technical support team, you will interact directly with government clients and other members of our teams to provide technology-based solutions.

Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for the support of Data Analytic Platforms, within contracted time frames and service level agreements. This will involve remote assistance over the phone and ad-hoc onsite visits when required, as well as participation in an on-call roster for after-hours support.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical maintenance and support services within agreed service levels.
  • Maintain technical documentation and use tools and processes to deliver services to customers.
  • Proactively manage customer infrastructure and drive service process improvement.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will bring at least 3 years' experience as a System Administrator with Linux infrastructure and Cloud Computing. Your technical experience should include:

  • Experience across Linux operating systems.
  • Supporting Statistical Analysis System (SAS) software.
  • Database skills.
