Job Description:
We are seeking a highly motivated Registered Nurse to join our dynamic Cath Lab team on a full-time basis at our hospital. The successful candidate will have a strong commitment to delivering exceptional patient care, along with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the nursing team with planning, assessment, implementation, and evaluation of evidence-based person-centred care.
- Demonstrate professional practice by adhering to relevant professional standards, codes of conduct, legislative requirements, and organisational policies.
- Foster a learning environment through clinical presentations to support the nursing team with their professional development and maintaining own professional learning and continuous professional development.
- Act as a valued member of the inter-disciplinary team to provide exceptional patient care by actively contributing to team processes and practices.
- Collaborate with external partners to ensure patients receive a high quality of care across the healthcare continuum.
Requirements:
- AHPRA registration;
- 3+ years' experience within an acute environment;
- 1-year minimum team leader or in-charge nursing experience (desirable).
- Compliance with ACQSHC National standards.
- The ability to demonstrate initiative and work within a team environment.
- Possession of a passion for teaching, educating and up-skilling staff in cardiac operating theatres.
