
Business Operations Specialist

A business operations specialist is required to coordinate, analyse and communicate project ideas into executable plans.
- Coordinate schedules, meetings, workshops and reporting rhythms
- Maintain accurate documentation across action logs, risk registers and issue trackers
- Create project dashboards, reports and presentations
- Track timelines, identify potential risks early and escalate with context
- Support resourcing and project communications, assist with procurement and vendor management
This position is responsible for eliciting and documenting business requirements through interviews and workshops.
- Elicit and document business requirements
- Analyse data to surface opportunities and inform decisions
- Craft functional specifications, user stories and acceptance criteria that guide delivery
- Support testing and UAT - from defect triage to final validation
- Facilitate workshops and capture outcomes that shape solution design and partner with technical team to align business needs with system capability
To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate strong skills in business analysis, requirements gathering and process mapping.
- Experience in project coordination or PMO support within a corporate or technology environment
- Strong skills in business analysis, requirements gathering and process mapping
- Familiarity with project management methodologies (Agile and/or Waterfall)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with MS Project, JIRA, Excel or similar tools preferred
- Excellent communication, documentation and stakeholder engagement skills
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently
