Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and present conceptual designs, engineered solutions and proposals that meet client requirements
  • Apply engineering expertise across design, drafting, compliance and technical client support
  • Engage directly with clients to clarify requirements, propose solutions and represent the company's capabilities
  • Deliver CAD models, calculations and FEA reports using Solid Edge and Femap
  • Manage the full cycle of technical opportunities from concept and client pitch through to project delivery and close
  • Ensure all outputs comply with engineering standards and quality systems
Requirements
  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
  • Minimum five years CAD and design experience within mechanical engineering or metal fabrication
  • Proficiency in Solid Edge and Femap
  • Proven ability to engage with clients in a technical sales capacity, presenting engineered solutions and driving projects through to completion
  • Strong technical writing skills with demonstrated ability in calculations, compliance and engineering documentation
  • Logical, structured and detail-oriented approach with an unwavering commitment to precision and reliability
