About the Role:
We are looking for a highly motivated and organized individual who can effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining the highest standards of quality and efficiency. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in composite design, material science, and engineering principles, with experience working with various CAD software packages including AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and Rhino.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement advanced composite designs for custom marine vessels and components
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of cabinetry, structural, plumbing, and electrical systems within vessel designs
- Collaborate with engineers, shipwrights, and production teams to optimize design accuracy, practicality, and compliance with marine engineering standards and regulatory requirements
Requirements:
- At least 3 years of experience in composite design engineering
- Strong command of 2D / 3D CAD tools such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and Rhino
- Demonstrated ability to read, interpret, and translate engineering specifications, technical drawings, and schematics with a high degree of accuracy
- Excellent communication and project management skills
