Job DescriptionWe are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Care Coordinator to oversee the delivery of best-in-market OSHC services. Reporting to the Regional Services Manager, this role plays a pivotal part in mentoring and leading a high-performing team, ensuring a fun, inclusive, and engaging environment for children.
Key Responsibilities:- Program Development: Plan, implement, and evaluate developmentally appropriate programs for individual children and groups, aligned with the 'My Time, Our Place Framework.'
- Staff Supervision: Oversee staff and student placements, ensuring high standards of service delivery.
- Child Safety: Maintain accurate records for each child, ensuring a safe environment and adherence to safety and health policies.
- Family Engagement: Liaise effectively with families, maintaining strong relationships and clear communication.
- Health & Safety: Manage risk, ensure the wellbeing of all children and staff, and oversee the medical management of identified children.
- Service Quality & Compliance: Ensure daily service delivery meets internal audit standards and National Quality Standards.
- Administrative Support: Assist in rostering, attendance management, and the effective administration of childcare management systems.
- Experience in the childcare industry, preferably in an OSHC environment.
- Proven experience in supporting and delivering quality and safety agendas.
- Understanding of the National Quality Framework and MTOP Educational Framework.
- Strong administration and computer skills.
- A history demonstrating reliability, punctuality, enthusiasm, initiative, and commitment.
The estimated salary for this position is AU$60,000 - AU$80,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience.
