Occupational Rehabilitation Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Exercise Physiologist to join our Occupational Rehabilitation team in Sydney Metro.
About the RoleThis is a unique opportunity to work with a diverse range of clients, providing occupational rehabilitation services and supporting them to achieve return to health and return to work outcomes.
You will have the flexibility and autonomy to manage your own day, with the support of a strong and close-knit team of healthcare professionals.
This role offers exposure to delivering innovative services, including IPAR's pain education program Re-thinking Recovery, which utilizes virtual reality and modern pain science to help individuals understand pain and re-train their brain and body.
Key Responsibilities- Case management, including developing and implementing injury prevention and workplace education programs;
- Applying clinical knowledge to improve return to work outcomes;
- Working collaboratively with injured workers, employers, medical, and allied health professionals;
- Completing assessments using clinical and discipline-specific skills, such as Functional Capacity Evaluations, Worksite Assessments, Ergonomic Assessments, and Activities of Daily Living Assessments;
- Delivering the virtual reality pain education program, Re-thinking Recovery.
- Tertiary qualification in Exercise Physiology, registered with ESSA and SIRA Accreditation;
- Previous experience working in Occupational Rehabilitation would be highly regarded;
- Fabulous communication skills, with ability to build rapport with clients and stakeholders;
- Compassion, kindness, and empathy are essential qualities for this role;
- Well-developed time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively;
- A current NSW Driver's License and access to own car with comprehensive insurance is mandatory.
- Competitive salary package, estimated at around $80,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on experience;
