Protecting customers and the business is a top priority. As a Transaction Monitoring Analyst, you will play a critical role in identifying and analyzing financial crime activities such as fraud, money laundering, and terrorist financing.

You will be responsible for detailed review of transaction monitoring alerts, working with front-line teams to assess the risk level and take appropriate action. Your work will contribute to ongoing financial crime investigations and help ensure we meet our regulatory obligations.

This role can be based anywhere in Australia, New Zealand, Hong Kong or Singapore, allowing you to work flexibly and enjoy a great work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess and investigate alerts generated by our monitoring systems and raised by front-line teams
  • Think critically about customer activity vs customer profile to identify potential red flags
  • Work closely with other areas of the organization to design and implement changes to processes and procedures
  • Contribute to maintaining high standards of service to all internal and external clients
Requirements:
  • Experience in transaction monitoring or financial crimes investigations within the financial sector
  • Understanding of red flags, criminal typologies, and trends
  • Ability to investigate complex issues and clearly articulate findings
  • Strong stakeholder management, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Ability to maintain accuracy and work under pressure to achieve deadlines
  • High level of personal integrity, commitment to confidentiality and privacy principles
