The Financial Crime Analyst plays a crucial role in identifying and investigating potential financial crime, contributing to a safer and more transparent financial ecosystem.
- Investigate transaction monitoring alerts and assess potential suspicious activity with precision.
- Prepare comprehensive investigation reports, including Suspicious Matter Reports (SMRs) and Suspicious Activity Reports (SARs).
- Conduct thorough reviews involving politically exposed persons (PEPs), sanctioned individuals/entities (SIPs), and high-risk transactions.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure compliance with Anti-Money Laundering (AML) obligations.
- Effectively manage daily case volumes with strong time management skills.
- 1-2 years' experience in AML transaction monitoring or financial crime analysis is required.
- A solid understanding of AML regulations and financial services products is necessary.
- Previous experience in Banking/Financial domain is essential.
- Strong analytical and investigative skills with attention to detail are crucial.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills are vital.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Office tools is mandatory.
