Financial Crime Analyst Role

The Financial Crime Analyst plays a crucial role in identifying and investigating potential financial crime, contributing to a safer and more transparent financial ecosystem.

  • Investigate transaction monitoring alerts and assess potential suspicious activity with precision.
  • Prepare comprehensive investigation reports, including Suspicious Matter Reports (SMRs) and Suspicious Activity Reports (SARs).
  • Conduct thorough reviews involving politically exposed persons (PEPs), sanctioned individuals/entities (SIPs), and high-risk transactions.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure compliance with Anti-Money Laundering (AML) obligations.
  • Effectively manage daily case volumes with strong time management skills.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • 1-2 years' experience in AML transaction monitoring or financial crime analysis is required.
  • A solid understanding of AML regulations and financial services products is necessary.
  • Previous experience in Banking/Financial domain is essential.
  • Strong analytical and investigative skills with attention to detail are crucial.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills are vital.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Office tools is mandatory.
