Fieldwork Placement Operations Manager

This is a pivotal position for ensuring students in the community services program gain high-quality practical experience.
Key Responsibilities- Manage all aspects of field placements, from developing systems to ensure compliance, to building relationships with external organizations for diverse opportunities.
- Provide essential support and guidance to students, agency supervisors, and host organizations throughout the placement process.
- Collaborate with academic staff and the Work Placement Team to develop policies, administer agreements, oversee student records, and maintain academic standards.
- Design and deliver preparation workshops for students, and recruit, train, and support Academic Liaison Visitors.
- Foster a positive culture, uphold regulatory compliance, and engage in professional development and reporting.
- A Bachelor Degree or higher in Social Work, Community Services, Social Welfare, or Human Services.
- Minimum 3 years relevant post-qualification industry experience.
- Full membership, or eligibility for full membership, of the Community Work Australia.
- Knowledge of contemporary developments in the community services sector.
- Experience in supervising community services students in work-based contexts.
