Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Environment and Planning Specialist to join our team in Brisbane. As a key member of our environment and planning team, you will be responsible for advising clients on a range of environmental and planning matters, including strategic planning approvals, regulatory advice, and environmental licensing.

Our ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of environmental and planning laws and regulations, as well as excellent communication and project management skills. You will be working closely with our clients to provide tailored advice and support, and will be expected to maintain high levels of professionalism and confidentiality at all times.

Responsibilities
  • Advise clients on strategic planning approvals and regulatory requirements;
  • Provide expert advice on environmental licensing and permitting;
  • Develop and implement effective project management strategies to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of projects;
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders through excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in environmental and planning laws and regulations, and apply this knowledge to advise clients effectively;
Requirements
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in environmental and planning law;
  • A strong understanding of environmental and planning laws and regulations;
  • Excellent communication and project management skills;
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team;
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
  • Ability to maintain high levels of professionalism and confidentiality at all times;
