Job Overview

As a Strategic Inventory Manager, you will play a critical role in ensuring parts availability for production impactful materials at our Olympic Dam asset through the definition of stocking strategies aligned to business needs.

This strategic inventory position requires an individual with significant experience in inventory analytics and strategy, forecasting, cost modeling, and supply chain expediting. You should have excellent analytical skills and be able to interpret data effectively.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Develop and implement inventory strategies that align with business objectives.
  • Collaborate with procurement teams to identify lowest total cost decisions without compromising security of supply.
  • Ensure optimal configuration of materials to minimize supply chain costs.
  • Assist capital projects teams in resolving supply chain-related issues.
  • Monitor and control inventory project pipeline progress.
  • Build strong relationships with regional roles teams to identify new inventory initiatives.
