As a seasoned BIM expert, you will play a pivotal role in driving our team's success by overseeing the development and implementation of BIM workflows from early design through to construction documentation.


BIM Leadership & Strategy
  • Develop and maintain robust BIM execution plans, templates, and project-wide standards that foster collaboration and innovation.
  • Lead the implementation of cutting-edge BIM strategies that enhance project delivery and stakeholder satisfaction.
  • Establish and drive project-specific modelling strategies and coordination protocols that ensure seamless integration across disciplines.

Project Support & Documentation
  • You will be responsible for overseeing BIM model production and quality control for interior fit-out projects, ensuring accuracy and adherence to industry standards.
  • Manage the coordination of architectural and furniture models, clash detection, and spatial planning to minimize errors and delays.
  • Develop detailed construction documentation in Revit, including GA plans, RCPs, joinery and construction details that meet client briefs and project timelines.
  • Promote compliance with client expectations, project milestones, and industry best practices throughout the project lifecycle.

Team Leadership
  • You will act as the go-to BIM expert across the organization, providing mentorship and support to the team in software use and best practice workflows.
  • Mentor junior staff members in leveraging BIM technologies to improve productivity and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address technical challenges and optimize BIM workflows throughout the project lifecycle.

Stakeholder Coordination
  • You will coordinate with external consultants, contractors, and clients on model exchanges and deliverables, fostering strong relationships and effective communication.
  • Lead BIM coordination meetings to implement updates that enhance model accuracy and performance, ensuring successful project outcomes.

Technology & Innovation
  • Stay at the forefront of industry trends, new digital tools, and BIM-related plugins to continually refine processes and improve design efficiency and documentation quality.

Requirements
  • A degree in Architecture or Interior Design is essential, combined with 5+ years' experience in a BIM-heavy role, preferably in commercial interiors.
  • Advanced Revit skills are mandatory, along with proficiency in Enscape and BIM 360.
  • Solid knowledge of construction methods, joinery detailing, and building codes is required.
  • Strong organisational and leadership abilities, coupled with excellent communication skills, are crucial for success in this role.
  • IFC experience and Dynamo scripting are highly desirable.
