Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Construction Development Manager to join our team due to continued growth and new projects awarded.

You will work with industry professionals on fully resourced teams, with mentorship and development in place to enhance your career.

Key Responsibilities And Duties

  • Liaising with stakeholders from each department (design, development, and construction) and providing necessary construction input and updates.
  • Undertake due diligence reviews and communicate findings and implications to relevant stakeholders.
  • Analysing design documentation to identify risks and opportunities and ensure these are effectively resolved with relevant stakeholders.
  • Developing construction staging and logistic plans, management plans and methodologies.
  • Developing design and construction programmes.
  • Developing construction preliminaries and supervision estimates.
  • Obtaining trade pricing and feedback to assist developing project budgets.
  • Communicating with and obtaining required inputs from key subcontractors, suppliers, consultants, authorities and the like.

Key Qualifications And Skills

  • Tertiary degree in Engineering, Construction, Project Management, or equivalent.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Experience presenting to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong programming and project planning skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and time management skills (ability to work across multiple projects at various stages concurrently).
  • Well-rounded experience across all project phases (concept to delivery and completion).
  • Experience managing the design development process and consultants is beneficial.
  • Previous experience working in a similar capacity (2+ years).
  • Proven experience working as a Construction Development Manager on large-scale projects.
