Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct regular inspections and audits of cleaning equipment in supermarket settings.
  • Complete timely reports on service activities and inspection findings.
  • Document corrective actions and maintain accurate records.
  • Communicate improvements and resolve client issues effectively.
  • Install and maintain hygiene and dosing equipment according to specifications.
  • Perform preventative maintenance and repair non-functioning equipment as needed.
  • Support new store rollouts, ensuring proper training and installation completion.
  • Maintain safety data sheets (SDS) and ensure compliance with safety protocols.
  • Deliver formal and on-the-job training as per contractual obligations.
  • Respond promptly to customer requests and complaints.
  • Maintain tool kits and field test kits, replacing expired or contaminated items.
  • Achieve 100% compliance in monthly CMX platform reporting.
Required Skills:
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and excellent analytical skills.
  • Self-motivated with excellent time management and prioritization skills.
  • Flexible and willing to travel with valid driver's license (primarily within NSW, occasionally interstate).
  • Experience in equipment service, repair, and installation (chemical hygiene/food industry preferred).
  • Basic technical skills and safe use of tools.
  • Background in food safety, sanitation, or pest control (preferred).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Computer literacy in Microsoft Office.

This role focuses on conducting Food Safety audits, inspections, and electronic reporting to uphold the highest standards of food safety. The technician will work within but not limited to supermarket environments, ensuring compliance while servicing wall-mounted dispensers and supporting equipment installations.
