We are partnering with a residential builder to shape contemporary homes across Melbourne. Their vision is to become one of Australia's most respected builders, operating with purpose, passion, and a commitment to delivering exceptional outcomes for customers.

About the Role

This role involves producing accurate documentation, coordinating with consultants, and offering design suggestions to support better project delivery. You'll work in a high-performing drafting team responsible for residential construction projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Complete drafting tasks within agreed deadlines, resolving drafting matters with your manager.
  • Commission reports and technical information with external consultants and follow up to ensure timely delivery.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement by recommending innovative building methods or materials for cost or quality advantages.
  • Liaise with the team to ensure designs meet compliance, functionality, and aesthetic standards.
Skills & Qualifications
  • Demonstrated experience in residential drafting using ArchiCAD.
  • At least 5 years' experience in the residential housing and construction industry.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in preparing construction documentation.
  • Tertiary qualifications in Drafting and/or Design highly regarded.
  • Proven ability to work independently and within a team to meet deadlines and resolve technical issues.
