We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to join our team and lead the development of business processes and analysis standards. As a Lead Business Analyst, you will be responsible for steering the team of Business Analysts by working closely with business and technical stakeholders in defining scope and requirements, identifying business processes, and designing functional aspects of solutions in alignment with business needs.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to understand the pipeline of work, prioritize, and allocate tasks to the appropriate team members. You will also take on a proactive role in helping to understand projects from inception and facilitate the creation of correct artefacts across their lifecycle.
You will be required to maintain and enhance the BA Practice, playing an active role in promoting and sharing knowledge and skills amongst the team. The ideal candidate will have experience in both waterfall and agile methodologies and be able to bring fresh ideas to the project team and BA Practice.
About the Role:
- Lead the development of business processes and analysis standards.
- Steer the team of Business Analysts by working closely with business and technical stakeholders.
- Understand the pipeline of work, prioritize, and allocate tasks to the appropriate team members.
- Maintain and enhance the BA Practice.
- Play an active role in promoting and sharing knowledge and skills amongst the team.
Required Skills and Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience of developing and implementing business processes and analysis standards within a large and complex organisation. They will also demonstrate experience in both waterfall and agile methodologies and be able to bring fresh ideas to the project team and BA Practice.
Possess outstanding written and verbal communication skills with proven ability to negotiate with, influence, and build consensus with a wide range of stakeholders, including the most senior members of management.
Have an outcomes-focussed approach, with the ability to work autonomously, delivering quality outcomes to agreed deadlines.
Strong analytical problem-solving and change leadership skills.
Strong business analysis and engagement background and understanding of the application of Information Technologies within the education sector.
Consultative and open-minded, with highly effective communication, interpersonal skills, and attention to detail.
