Clinical Leadership Role for Experienced Nurses

As a seasoned nurse leader, you have the chance to make a real difference in the lives of our patients and their families. We are seeking a highly skilled Nursing Unit Manager to join our team in an Acute Medical Unit.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic leadership to the Acute Medical Unit, promoting high-quality patient care and safe clinical practices.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes and improve service delivery.
- Develop and implement evidence-based policies, procedures, and guidelines to ensure excellence in patient care.
- Lead and manage a team of nursing professionals, providing coaching, mentoring, and opportunities for professional growth and development.
- Foster a positive work environment, promoting teamwork, communication, and respect among staff members.
Requirements:
- Registered Nurse authorized to practice by the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
- Relevant postgraduate management qualifications or experience, or working towards.
- Nursing Unit Management or In-Charge experience in an acute/subacute facility and/or ambulatory setting and ability to work proficiently in periods of high demand and activity.
- Demonstrated ability to lead, develop, and manage a team in a multidisciplinary environment.
- Demonstrated ability to manage financial and human resources.
- Demonstrated effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to improving healthcare through quality improvement and implementation of evidence-based care.
