Clinical Nurse Specialists play a vital role in delivering high-quality care to residents. This is an exciting opportunity to join our team and contribute to the provision of exceptional clinical support and leadership.
About the Role:This Clinical Nurse Specialist position involves providing expert clinical support, assessment, and mentoring to Registered Nurses. You will be responsible for developing and implementing care plans, identifying residents requiring clinical review, and promoting best practices within the team.
Key Responsibilities:- Undertake comprehensive clinical assessments to identify resident needs
- Develop and implement individualized care plans in consultation with the clinical team and residents
- Provide educational support and mentoring to enhance the skills and knowledge of Registered Nurses
- Lead quality improvement initiatives to promote evidence-based practice
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A minimum of five years' experience as a Registered Nurse in an Aged Care setting
- Clinical leadership experience, preferably in an Aged Care context
- Demonstrated understanding and application of adult learning principles
- Postgraduate qualifications in a specialized clinical area related to aged care
