Earth Observation Procurement Specialist

The Earth Observation Program is seeking a skilled procurement professional to provide expert advice and support in the management of complex projects. This role will play a critical part in delivering the program's objectives, including the development of key initiatives such as Landsat Next.
Main Responsibilities- Advise on contract drafting and finalisation for large acquisitions and sustainment projects.
- Develop and maintain stakeholder relationships to facilitate cooperation and participate in sensitive negotiations.
- Ensure high levels of compliance with legislative, financial, and administrative frameworks.
- Engage in risk management activities, including risk assessment and mitigation strategies.
- Draft and negotiate complex contracts to align commercial engagement with organisational goals.
- Maintain accurate procurement records and administration systems.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including scientific specialists, to nurture productive working relationships.
