Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated individual to complete their Certificate III in Engineering – Fabrication Trade (Sheetmetal). This role involves TIG welding and fabricating custom-made marine parts in a busy workshop. The majority of work is marine stainless steel fabrication, primarily focusing on pleasure craft and super yachts.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience with TIG welding and stainless fabrication. On-the-job training will be provided to ensure the individual develops the necessary skills to excel in this field.

Key requirements for this role include:

  • No prior experience is required, but some knowledge of metalwork would be advantageous (including metalwork at school)
  • A willingness to learn with a positive attitude
  • Reliability and a strong work ethic
  • A fine eye for detail

This apprenticeship offers a full-time position with a 38-hour week and an immediate start. You will also be paid to attend TAFE which will commence upon completion of your apprenticeship. We are looking for someone who is eager to develop their skills and take on new challenges.
