About this role

This is a key opportunity for an experienced project professional to join our organization and make a significant impact on the delivery of complex ICT initiatives. The Senior Project Support Officer will provide high-level project support across a portfolio of projects, working closely with stakeholders to ensure successful outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Providing administrative support to project managers, including management of documentation, registers, plans, and progress reports.
  • Coordinating project information using tools such as SharePoint, Enterprise Project Online, and other digital platforms.
  • Monitoring project budgets, preparing financial reports, and managing procurement activities.
  • Drafting project reports, spreadsheets, and planning documentation using a range of software tools.
  • Organising and facilitating meetings, workshops, and stakeholder forums, including minute-taking and action tracking.
  • Providing secretariat support to project boards, including agenda preparation and decision tracking.
  • Managing project inbox and ensuring timely dissemination of information.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a project officer supporting ICT-enabled projects in a complex environment.
  • Strong skills in project administration, financial management, and the use of project management tools.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience with SAP, Content Manager, and Enterprise Project Online.
  • Understanding of project management methodologies.
  • Prior experience working in government or ICT infrastructure disciplines.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
