**Support Care Assistant Role Available in Sunshine Coast Area**

About the Job

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Care Assistant to join our team in the Sunshine Coast area. As a Support Care Assistant, you will provide high-quality care and support to our clients, helping them with their daily needs and promoting their independence.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, be enthusiastic, organised and punctual, and have a genuine care for the clients they assist. You will work within a set region close to your home, supporting our clients with tasks such as personal care, mobility assistance, medication management, shopping, meal preparation, housekeeping, respite care, social support, and transportation.

To succeed in this role, you will need to hold a Certificate III or higher in Individual Support (Ageing, Home and Community) and have a current First Aid and CPR certificate. You will also require a National Police Clearance Certificate and a valid Australian Driver's Licence.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide person-centred care and support to clients
  • Assist clients with daily tasks, including personal care and mobility
  • Manage medications and assist with household tasks
  • Transport clients to appointments and engage in social activities

Requirements:

  • Certificate III or higher in Individual Support (Ageing, Home and Community)
  • Current First Aid and CPR certificate
  • National Police Clearance Certificate
  • Valid Australian Driver's Licence
