Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement condition monitoring strategies for essential electrical and instrumentation assets to ensure ongoing reliability and performance.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate workflows into SAP systems, enhancing data accuracy and reporting capabilities.
  • Design comprehensive condition monitoring processes tailored for electrical and instrumentation assets to optimise performance and longevity.
  • Integrate newly designed condition monitoring workflows into SAP Plant Maintenance modules, guaranteeing precise data capture and actionable reporting.
  • Work collaboratively with engineers, maintenance personnel, and IT/SAP specialists to embed industry-leading practices into daily operations.
  • Conduct detailed failure mode analysis (FMEA) and root cause analysis (RCA) to inform robust asset management strategies.
  • Support the standardisation of reliability procedures across the business, fostering consistency and efficiency in asset care.
  • Champion continuous improvement initiatives within the reliability function by identifying opportunities for process enhancements and implementing effective solutions.
  • Provide expert guidance on predictive maintenance techniques using advanced instrumentation and data capture methods.
  • Facilitate training sessions or workshops to upskill team members in condition monitoring technologies and SAP integration.
  • Monitor key performance indicators related to asset health, proactively addressing issues before they escalate into critical failures.
  • Contribute to strategic planning discussions aimed at elevating overall equipment effectiveness (OEE) throughout the organisation.
Requirements
  • Degree qualification in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, or a closely related discipline.
  • Experience in asset reliability engineering with a strong emphasis on condition monitoring methodologies.
  • Proficiency in integrating workflows into SAP Plant Maintenance or similar enterprise asset management systems.
  • Advanced skills in instrumentation technology and data capture techniques for predictive maintenance applications.
  • Excellent communication abilities to facilitate effective collaboration across multidisciplinary teams.
  • A proven track record of supporting process improvements within complex operational environments.
  • Experience conducting FMEA or RCA analyses is highly regarded.
