Green Leaves Early Learning Cannon Hill is a boutique early education centre in the heart of Cannon Hill, offering a unique and stimulating environment for children to grow and develop.

The centre boasts high raked ceilings and wrap around verandahs, combining local architecture with modern amenities and facilities. Parents can relax in the parent lounge, enjoy fresh barista coffee and baked treats, and take advantage of the state-of-the-art chef's kitchen and culinary lesson space.

Each learning hub is bright and inviting, featuring rich timber resources and innovative educational materials. The outdoor space offers endless opportunities for fun, with a bike track, cubby house, and edible gardens providing a safe and engaging environment for children to explore.

As an approved and funded Kindy program, Green Leaves Cannon Hill aligns with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and Queensland Kindergarten Learning Guideline (QKLG). Our Kindy program is led by a Bachelor-qualified Early Childhood Teacher who possesses strong leadership skills and experience in mentoring Educators.

About the Role
  • We are seeking an experienced and passionate Early Childhood Teacher to lead our Kindy program, implementing programs that meet the needs of all learners through a deep understanding of the EYLF and NQS.
  • Prior leadership experience in mentoring Educators to meet high standards of curriculum and documentation is essential.
  • The successful candidate will possess knowledge of various early years theories and be able to adapt their approach to meet the diverse needs of our children.
  • A team player who is open to different views, receptive to feedback, and reflects upon best practice is required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and implement the Kindy program, ensuring alignment with the EYLF and QKLG.
  • Mentor and support Educators to achieve high standards of curriculum and documentation.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with parents and the wider community.
  • Ensure each room in the centre is presented immaculately, creating a welcoming and safe environment for children.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Current ACECQA-approved Diploma/Bachelor qualification in Early Childhood Education.
  • Current Blue Card/WWCC and relevant certifications.
