Security Training Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Trainer to join our team at ISS Security P/L. As a Security Trainer, you will play a critical role in delivering training and assessment activities for internal training programs, ensuring that our Aviation Protection Officers are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to provide effective passenger and baggage screening at security checkpoints.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct Training and Assessment Activities: Deliver training and assessment programs to Aviation Protection Officers, ensuring that they meet the required standards and competencies.
- Oversee Day-to-Day Operations: Manage day-to-day operations on site, ensuring that correct procedures are followed and that all activities are conducted in a safe and efficient manner.
- Deliver Internal Face-to-Face Training: Provide high-quality training to Aviation Protection Officers, using a range of training methods and materials to engage and motivate learners.
- Notify Stakeholders of Training Outcomes: Inform relevant stakeholders of training and assessment outcomes, ensuring that all necessary documentation is completed and maintained.
- Deliver Excellent Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service to all trainees, ensuring that their needs are met and that they receive a positive learning experience.
- Certificate IV in Workplace Assessment and Training: Hold a Certificate IV in Workplace Assessment and Training (TAE40116 or equivalent).
- Relevant Screening Experience: Have relevant screening experience, meeting RTO requirements as a trainer/assessor (aviation passenger/baggage screening or experience in similar environments).
- Excellent Communication Skills: Possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively engage with trainees and stakeholders.
- Sound Reporting History: Have a sound reporting history and performance record as a workplace mentor.
- Compliance and Safety Focused: Demonstrate a compliance and safety focused attitude, ensuring that all activities are conducted in a safe and efficient manner.
