Job Title:

Logistics Advisor

Role Overview:

This role involves supporting the removal and disposal of assets, ensuring compliance with industry standards and processes. It requires effective collaboration, risk management, and continuous improvement.

About the Job:
  • Mitigate or minimize business risks through proactive collaboration within the team.
  • EFFECTIVE engagement and collaboration with internal stakeholders, consultants, regulators, community stakeholders, and service providers.
  • Comply with industry and company standards.
  • Actively seek opportunities for continuous improvement and delivering efficiencies.
  • Manage site HSE risks and contribute to their management and resolution.
  • Packaging lead for coordinating and managing contractors responsible for provision of port services required to support FSO decontamination alongside the wharf in Timor Leste.
  • Support packages with import/export of equipment to/from Timor.
  • Support packages with segregation of generated waste.
  • Support packages with handling, storage, and export of Hazardous/Dangerous Waste to Australia.
  • Support procurement team through contract award process.
  • Support preparation of documentation required to obtain regulatory approval for port activities.
  • Frequent travel to Timor Leste to engage with contractors and ensure delivery is on schedule.
  • Ensure contractors deliver on local content commitments.
Requirements:
  • Candidates must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A strong understanding of logistics and supply chain management principles.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent time management and organization skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
