Clinical Training Specialist

This role involves developing and maintaining training programs to ensure high-quality patient care, a safe operating environment for staff, and compliance with industry protocols.
The successful candidate will be responsible for creating content and delivering the Annual Competency training program and assessing staff accordingly. They will also develop and deliver tailored training programs for staff needing to address specific skills gaps.
In addition, this person will work with management, clinicians, and quality managers to identify staff training needs or areas of risk. They will participate in clinical reviews to identify training gaps and improvements.
The ideal candidate will have experience in the patient care industry, excellent communication skills, and the ability to engage and build relationships with internal and external stakeholders. A Clinical Instructor qualification and Cert IV in Workplace Assessment and Training are preferred but not required.
This is a mid-senior level position that requires the ability to manage multiple tasks, deadlines, and conflicting priorities. The successful candidate will strive for staff compliance with all clinical and legislative protocols and policies.
