About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Internal Medicine Specialist to join our team at Southpaws, a leading veterinary hospital in Melbourne. As a Specialist in Animal Health, you will be responsible for providing expert care to our patients and contributing to the development of our Internal Medicine department.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic tests and exams to evaluate patient conditions
- Use specialized medical equipment to diagnose and treat internal body system disorders
- Develop and implement treatment plans to improve patient outcomes
- Collaborate with other Specialists and veterinarians to provide comprehensive care
- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in veterinary medicine through ongoing education and training

Requirements
- Advanced degree in veterinary medicine
- Board certification in Internal Medicine
- Proven experience in veterinary medicine, preferably in a hospital setting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
