About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Internal Medicine Specialist to join our team at Southpaws, a leading veterinary hospital in Melbourne. As a Specialist in Internal Medicine, you will be responsible for providing expert care to our patients and contributing to the development of our internal medicine department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform diagnostic tests and exams to evaluate patient conditions
  • Use specialized medical equipment to diagnose and treat internal body systems
  • Perform surgical procedures as needed
  • Update patient files and provide professional consultations to general veterinary practitioners
  • Supervise internal medicine vet techs or surgical vet techs
