We are seeking an experienced Internal Medicine Specialist to join our team at Southpaws, a leading veterinary hospital in Melbourne. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing expert care to our patients and contributing to the development of our internal medicine department.
Key Responsibilities- Perform diagnostic tests and exams to diagnose and treat a range of internal medicine conditions.
- Evaluate scans and tests to inform treatment decisions.
- Use specialized medical equipment to diagnose and treat patients.
- Perform surgical procedures as required.
- Update patient files to ensure accurate and up-to-date records.
- Supervise internal medicine vet techs or surgical vet techs to ensure high-quality patient care.
- Provide professional consultations to general veterinary practitioners as needed.
