About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Corporate Accountant to join our team at SG Fleet. As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for a range of global finance tasks, including processing bank receipts and payments, calculating accruals, and general ledger reconciliation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the preparation of financial statements for year-end and interim audits.
  • Apply accounting standards to our product offering and support various projects on new issued standards.
  • Monthly accounting of right-of-use assets and liabilities, including reconciliation and financial statement disclosures.
  • Assist in calculating and processing month-end accruals and journals, as well as assisting with securitisation accounting for trust entities.
  • Maintain accuracy of the general ledger and manage balance sheet reconciliation for various accounts, including leases and receivables.
  • Assist with daily and month-end processing, reconciliations, and reporting, as required.

Requirements

  • Good technical and numerical skills, with a thorough and accurate approach.
  • Proven customer service and communication skills.
  • Advanced spreadsheet skills.
  • Strong organisational and prioritisation skills, with the ability to meet specific deadlines and report regularly on progress.
  • Analytical skills, with the ability to solve problems and demonstrate resourcefulness, perseverance, and accountability.
