
Environmental Sustainability Specialist

We are seeking a proactive professional to lead the development and delivery of community engagement and education programs focused on waste and recycling. As the Waste Education & Projects Officer, you will organise community forums, support grant funding initiatives, collaborate on regulatory reporting, and work closely with the communications team to promote impactful waste education programs.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and deliver community engagement and education programs
- Organise community forums and events
- Support grant funding initiatives
- Collaborate on regulatory reporting
- Proven experience in community engagement and education
- Strong communication and project management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- A commencing weekly rate of $1349 with progression up to $1518 dependent upon skills and experience
- 12% superannuation
- Work a 9-day fortnight, based on a 35-hour working week (including some after hours work as required)
