Job Title: Observation Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Observation Specialist to join our team. This individual will be responsible for managing routine observation activities across multiple projects and maintaining detailed site records of work performed and construction activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough observation and assessment of construction activities to ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards.
  • Develop and implement safe work method statements and environmental management plans to minimize risks and hazards.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to review and update contract documentation, including SWMS and EMP.
  • Assess contractor performance and provide expert advice on observation approaches to contribute to effective planning programs.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated knowledge of quality assurance systems, WHS, and environmental management in construction projects.
  • Experience in planning and implementing surveillance, monitoring compliance against standards.
  • Valid Australian motor vehicle driver's licence and willingness to work outside regular hours and travel occasionally.
