Waste Education Officer

We're looking for a proactive individual to join our team, to lead the development and delivery of community engagement and education programs focused on waste and recycling.

About This Role

This role is responsible for organising community forums, supporting grant funding initiatives, collaborating on regulatory reporting, and working closely with the communications team to promote impactful waste education programs to the Goulburn Mulwaree community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Organise community forums to engage with the public on waste and recycling issues
  • Support grant funding initiatives to develop new waste education programs
  • Collaborate with the communications team to promote waste education programs
  • Work with stakeholders to develop and implement waste education strategies
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in environmental science, sustainability or a related field
  • Experience in community engagement and education
  • Strong communication and project management skills
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team
