Senior Clinical Professional - Aged Care

The role of Senior Clinical Professional – Aged Care is a high-level position in which you will oversee clinical operations, develop and mentor nursing teams, drive quality care through effective care planning and compliance, collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare professionals, and ensure best practice medication management.

  • Oversight of all clinical operations, including strategic planning, budgeting, and resource allocation
  • Mentorship and development of the nursing team to enhance their skills and expertise
  • Effective care planning and implementation, ensuring that residents receive person-centered care that meets their individual needs
  • Collaboration with multidisciplinary healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery and improve health outcomes
  • Medication management, including oversight of medication administration, reconciliation, and education
Requirements:
  • Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
  • Proven experience in aged care clinical leadership, preferably in a senior role
  • Strong clinical assessment and care planning skills, with the ability to analyze complex situations and develop effective solutions
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with healthcare professionals and other stakeholders
  • Detailed knowledge of aged care standards and accreditation requirements
