Job Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced healthcare professional to join our team as a Clinical Nurse Educator. This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated individual who is passionate about delivering high-quality patient care and education.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver evidence-based clinical nursing care plans and oversee the implementation of patient care plans to ensure optimal outcomes.
  • Collaborate with the Nurse Unit Manager and Nurse Educators in clinical, educational, and management activities to promote quality and consistency of care.
  • Lead and coordinate clinical education programs, staff orientation, and professional development initiatives to foster a strong learning culture.
  • Contribute to clinical research, audits, and quality improvement initiatives to advance patient care and service excellence.
  • Provide leadership and act as a resource for nursing staff, supporting change management and resolving care delivery challenges.

Requirements:

  • Registered Nurse with current or eligible registration and practicing certificate from the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia.
  • Minimum 3 years post-graduation experience or classification as a Clinical Nurse / Associate Nurse Unit Manager.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience supervising nursing staff and facilitating clinical education.
  • Effective communication, problem-solving, negotiation, and conflict resolution abilities.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams and relate to diverse cultural backgrounds.
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation, professional standards, quality improvement systems, and contemporary healthcare issues.
