As a Senior Manager of Strategic Alliances, you will play a pivotal role in cultivating impactful partnerships that align with the University's strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify and develop engagement opportunities with major strategic partners, focusing on the healthcare sector.
  • Manage and nurture a portfolio of partnerships with various stakeholders, encompassing liaison, prospectus development, proposal writing, and presentation skills to drive current and potential partnerships.
  • Collaborate with Academic Groups to identify and lead business development initiatives that span research, education, and training projects and programs.
  • Partner with Central Portfolios to progress activities including media, marketing, promotion, and external relationships, ensuring alignment for maximum impact.
  • Liaise closely with key external stakeholders to optimize synergies and promote Griffith's unique capabilities.
Required Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess relevant postgraduate qualifications and substantial experience in business development, including expertise in value creation, opportunity identification, communication, collaborative relationship management, negotiation, and deal-making skills.

They will also have experience in leading strategic projects, proficient in crafting high-level communications for diverse audiences, and the ability to convey complex issues clearly and persuasively. Competent in facilitating collaboration agreements with legal and commercial departments, adept in stakeholder management, leadership, and a solid understanding of higher education administration.

Prior experience or background in the healthcare sector would be highly regarded.
