Job Overview

This role plays a vital part in ensuring accurate diagnosis and optimal patient management through the provision of high-quality clinical assessment and diagnostic vascular sonographic services.

Main Responsibilities
  • Oversee and coordinate all aspects of the Vascular Laboratory Service, driving efficiency and quality
  • Lead staff rostering and supervision to ensure effective team performance
  • Develop and implement comprehensive staff training and mentoring programs to enhance skills and knowledge
  • Maintain and upgrade equipment to optimize service delivery
  • Foster close liaison with hospital management to align strategic goals and operational objectives
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • A Bachelor of Medical Radiation Science or relevant health qualification
  • Postgraduate qualification in vascular ultrasound with extensive hands-on experience in vascular examinations
  • Current ASAR accreditation (Australian Sonographers Accreditation Registry)
