At Sydney Local Health District, we are seeking an experienced Vascular Sonographer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing a comprehensive tertiary level specialist vascular ultrasound service to the Vascular Laboratory and working collaboratively with other sonographers and medical staff to achieve high standards of diagnostic and clinical vascular ultrasound service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide a comprehensive tertiary level specialist vascular ultrasound service to the Vascular Laboratory.
  • Collaborate with other sonographers and medical staff to achieve high standards of diagnostic and clinical vascular ultrasound service.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, previous extensive experience in vascular ultrasound and physiological assessment at a teaching hospital level, and demonstrated ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team. For Radiographer positions, a Bachelor Medical Radiation Science degree and current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) are required. For Cardiac Technologist positions, a Bachelor of Science or equivalent degree and post-graduate qualification in electrophysiology or CIED or competencies deemed equivalent by the employer are required.
