Job Opportunity:

Vascular Sonographer Role

We are seeking a skilled Vascular Sonographer to join our healthcare team on a locum basis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform and critically analyze vascular ultrasound studies and non-invasive vascular physiological procedures, ensuring high-quality diagnostic results for surgical and medical teams.

  • Deliver accurate diagnostic results to support surgical and medical teams, contributing to patient-centered care and improved health outcomes.

  • Participate in research, education, and quality improvement initiatives to enhance the delivery of vascular ultrasound services.

  • Maintain effective communication with patients throughout all procedures, prioritizing their comfort and well-being.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

  • Hold ASAR-accredited vascular sonography qualifications or postgraduate qualifications in vascular sonography with at least two years of post-registration experience.

  • Possess a valid National Police Check (NPC) and Working With Children Check (WWCC).

  • Demonstrate expertise in tertiary-level vascular ultrasound, including arterial segmental testing for peripheral arterial occlusive disease (an asset).
