Occupational Therapist for Children and Adolescents

We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to work with children and adolescents in a variety of settings. As an Occupational Therapist, you will assess and identify the needs of clients, develop and implement individualized treatment plans, and evaluate progress towards goals.

About the Role:

  • Provide occupational therapy services to children and adolescents in schools, hospitals, and clinics;
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including doctors, psychologists, and social workers, to provide comprehensive care to clients;
  • Communicate effectively with clients, families, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless delivery of care;
  • Assess and treat clients with a range of conditions, including developmental delays, physical disabilities, and mental health issues;
  • Maintain accurate and timely records of client progress and treatment plans.

Requirements:

  • A Master's degree in Occupational Therapy or equivalent qualification;
  • Current registration as an Occupational Therapist with the relevant state or territory health department;
  • Experience working with children and adolescents in a clinical or educational setting;
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with clients, families, and other healthcare professionals;
  • Ability to maintain accurate and timely records, and to communicate effectively in writing and verbally.
