Cardiac Physiologist Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Cardiac Physiologist to join our team. In this role, you will provide clinical cardiology diagnostic and database services on an in-patient and out-patient basis.

The successful candidate will possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions. They will also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, healthcare professionals, and other stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide clinical cardiology diagnostic and database services on an in-patient and out-patient basis.
  • Perform haemodynamic recording and monitoring.
  • Perform physiological measurements and analysis.
  • Provide cardiac technical troubleshooting on equipment as required.
Requirements:
  • Hold a bachelor of science degree (or equivalent) and holds a Post Graduate Degree in Sonography or qualifications or competencies deemed equivalent by the employer.
  • Be independent in identifying and interpreting 12-Lead ECGs (normal and abnormal) and analysing rhythm.
  • Have relevant experience in Cardiac Catheterisation &/or Cardiac Devices.
  • Have a formal qualification in Echocardiography &/or Electrophysiological Study.
