Corporate Governance Specialist Role

This role is a key support function and conduit between senior leadership and the Board, requiring a values-driven and experienced professional.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide expert advice on governance, assurance, and compliance to the Board and its Committees.
  • Engage with internal and external stakeholders to ensure organisational operations are lawful, effective, and efficient.
  • Offer corporate governance advice and awareness, leading improvements to inform business decisions.

The successful candidate will have significant depth of knowledge of corporate governance, legal, compliance, and probity requirements.

Requirements:
  • Significant expertise in relevant legislation and ability to work effectively with Boards and Committees.
  • Highly developed verbal and written communication skills, exceptional organisation skills, and professional manner.

A qualification in a relevant legal or business field is required, and a postgraduate diploma in corporate governance is desirable. The ideal candidate will have a community-minded approach and be committed to making a positive impact.
